Details

Microsoft Lookalike Guard is a browser extension that alerts you when a page imitates Microsoft sign-in but is not hosted by Microsoft. It also warns on ClickFix attacks that tell you to copy and paste commands onto your PC.

Fake Microsoft login pages steal usernames and passwords. Many companies use Microsoft Entra ID to sign in to apps and services, and scammers target that look. This extension first checks whether the current site is a real Microsoft host. If it is not Microsoft, but the page looks like Microsoft sign-in, it shows a match percent, freezes the page, and lets you choose Close or Proceed anyway.

The second check warns when a site asks you to press Windows + R, Ctrl + V, or paste into PowerShell. That is a ClickFix (FixIt) attack. What you copy is often a hidden program, not a human check.
